“ I would never call myself a massive fan of Mexican food... only because most of the time it does not agree with me, but if I was to ever make a Mexican restaurant a regular go to this one would be it. Not only is the food really good... but the staff are second to none. They are easily the friendliest staff ever, very attentive, never leaves you waiting on anything. The Margaritas are also excellent. I wish they had more of a beer selection, but I know it's a Mexican restaurant and they mostly supply Mexican but I wish they took in some microbreweries just to mix it up a little. Great spot, well worth a visit. Again... great staff 09/28/23 Still a great restaurant with great food and even better staff. Very friendly staff Very fresh food ”
“ Been going here for years. We usually have a group of 10-15 people every other two weeks. After Bible study meeting.. So I thought it be good to introduce my uncle as he's a patient of St.Jude. Anyways, they accommodated us outside. Turned on the heater which was greatly appreciated . The female server was excellent. Very attentive. That's where the 3 stars go. Drinks were on point. The ceviche shrimp green enchiladas were just the way my uncle could eat them. He loved them. He has a terminal illness, So it was really nice to see him finally eat! Now the fajitas had mostly veggies. Tiny piece of meat. Like where's the beef? A few pieces of chicken. Again where's the puakpuaki (aka ) Did they run out of proteins? The manager was nice for the evening. I didn't make a fuss bc of my uncle's condition anything negative can trigger his heart. But I did mention it to one of the helpers. And was told oh I'm sorry. That was it. I called the following day and spoke with the day manager. I believe her name was Cris. She wasn't receptive at all! After explaining the delicate situation with my uncle!! She then again stated "you had to have told the manager because I can't do anything about it."Then said I don't know what to tell you. I told her I have a video of the food. She said well of u want to send it to me you can. But I can't help you even though you send it. THEN WHATS THE POINT? she said it really sarcastically!! So I asked who's the regional manger or owner. She said I'll let him know. I asked for contact information and was declined. She said I'll let them know. So obviously she didn't want me to contact them!! She then got a bit confrontational !!! So I wasn't getting anywhere with her... WHAT BIG DISAPPOINTMENT FOR BEING A MANAGER! ”
“ The food was good, but nothing that we would brag about. The waitress was very informative, kind professional and polite. In a pinch, this is a good place to visit. ”
“ I walked in to find several tables of construction workers with sizable plates in front of them with food that looked and smelled delicious. Not to mention the ice cold Mexican glass bottle cokes. I ordered the camarones al mojo de ajo, and it was delicious! However, it tasted even better. Tool my husband a couple of days later. Unfortunately, we forgot to take pictures. He ordered the enchiladas suizas the pollo, and I got the asada with mojo de ajo shrimp. Again, it was all delicious. ”
“ We found this place while visiting City of Hope and it's become our go-to for a yummy meal after my weekly clinic visits. The food is delicious, the service is friendly and it's conveniently located just a few minutes from the hospital. I've enjoyed the carnitas michoacan, tacos a la Mexicana (steak), quesadilla (steak), guacamole, hard tacos, enchiladas and taquitos. The chips and salsa are really good too! My aunt ordered take out and brought it to me at the hospital when I was having an 8 hour infusion appt and everything was delicious. We both commented that it tasted even be better than when we eat in the restaurant! (I was starved all day for the medical procedure so I may have just been really hungry but damn, it was so good!) I would recommend visiting Cabrera's if you want a delicious Mexican meal! ”
“ What a lovely place! The staff were so friendly too! It was fun to see how they interact with each other at the open galley kitchen where they pickup orders. I asked for a special item and the server didn’t hesitate for a second to accept my accommodation. I got to try a vegetarian mole enchilada! What a treat!! ”
“ What a great restaurant. This is the perfect blend of big, spacious, and cozy romantic. The ambiance and staff are perfect. We shared an amazing steak and chicken molcajete! Don't pass this by. ”
